Professional hunters
Every guide is a qualified big-game professional hunter with years of experience guiding foreign hunters. Rifle, bow, handgun or black powder, we conduct your safari in accordance with the laws of the country where you hunt.

Everything handled
Firearm import permits, hunting licences, meet-and-greet at the airport, field preparation of your trophies and their journey home. You just enjoy hunting. We take care of the rest.

Built around you
Hunting areas and accommodation vary with your wishes and the game you want. One-on-one, two-on-one, observers and families are all welcome.

Meet the founder
Christophe Beau was born in France, served in the French marine infantry in Senegal, and has lived and hunted in Africa ever since, settling in South Africa in 1994. He knows exactly what a dedicated hunter expects, and has built Grand Safari around meticulous planning and a firm ethic.
He still guides a few safaris himself each season, mainly for dangerous game, and makes sure everything runs smoothly in every Grand Safari camp and lodge.

How it works

Tell us your dream
Species, season, who is coming. A hunter, a couple, a family with children, or a party of twelve. Tell us what you want and we listen.

We shape the safari
We choose the concession, the dates and the programme, then send you a tailored itinerary and quote. Your safari is confirmed with a deposit.
- 3
Paperwork, handled
We prepare your firearm import permits and hunting licences, and our agent meets you at the airport to clear your guns through customs.
- 4
The hunt
Your own professional hunter, trackers and 4×4, with every logistical detail taken care of. Observers share the day from the comfort of the vehicle.

Trophies, taken care of
Field preparation by our team, then taxidermy in East London or shipping to the taxidermist of your choice, with every export document in order.
